What's Coming in 2019?Posted on the 1st January 2019
2018 has been a fantastic year for us here at Maidenhead Aquatics
We’ve opened up new stores including our Heathrow and Maidstone branches, and relaunched the successful Stokesley after an unfortunate fire earlier in the year. We bought many great and exciting products including the fantastic eaFreshwater Aquarium, the brand new AquaTropics and the very popular Fluval Spec 60, and there’s plenty more where those came from coming up in 2019!
As has been the trend for the past 3 years, we will be starting the year off with our school initiative, Fishkeeper Fry, where we will be educating primary school children about key themes of Fishkeeping; including the nitrogen cycle, photosynthesis and respiration. This year, we have really enhanced the learning material which is included with the programme by working closely with class teachers. Along with all the learning materials used in previous years, we have many puzzles, calculations and tests to really make sure the kids are soaking up what they are learning.
2019 will see a few changes happening throughout our stores, as we continue to bring our fantastic offering ever closer to our valued customers. In 2018 we changed the way we do interest-free credit, to make it even easier for our customers to spread the cost of their new aquarium or pond, in 2019 you can expect even more great nationwide enhancements to improve the customer experience in store.
So, what new to the market in 2019? Do we have any sneak peeks for you?
While we can’t give too much away, we can reveal that the AquaCare range will continue to grow and expand in 2019, we will offer you even more essential fishkeeping products in our customers favourite AquaCare brand, used nationwide by Maidenhead Aquatics. In addition to the growing AquaCare product range, we will also be bringing some new aquarium products to market from TMC and Microbe-Lift including circulation pumps and coral products.
For those of you interested in ponds, we will have some exclusive Tetra food and will be offering some new pump and filtration choices from Oase. Make sure you’re signed up to our AquaFocus Newsletter and following up on social media so that you don’t miss out on the launch of any of these fantastic new products.
For continued sustainability of our industry, in 2019 Maidenhead Aquatics will once again support LINI, the Indonesian Nature Foundation, who continuously work to protect and regenerate natural reefs in the oceans and protect spices which are important to the ocean's ecosystem. You can always find out more about our work with LINI and other charities by reading our blog or signing up to our newsletter AquaNews.
