Cloudy water treatments help eliminate undesirable particles that cause cloudy aquarium water, such as suspended organic and inorganic particles, dirt, silt and fine sand. The majority work by clumping together particulate waste by ionic attraction, allowing them to then be removed mechanically by the aquarium filtration.
