What was your first aquarium, and what fish did you keep in it?
A 40 litre aquarium stocked with a variety of platies and corydoras catfish, along with a Male Betta.
What species do you most enjoy keeping and why?
I like keeping Spanish ribbed Newts; they are fun to watch.
What pearl of wisdom would you give to a first-time Fishkeeper?
Keep up with tank maintenance to stop any water quality issues that may arise

Aqua oak 110cm
What’s your favourite aspect of work at Maidenhead Aquatics?
I love all aspects of the job, being a hobbist myself looking after the livestock and seeing what arrives on deliveries is exciting, and I like meeting new fishkeepers and helping start them on their aquarium journey.
