A miniature underwater world, creating a naturalistic habitat can be easily achieved in a quiet corner of the classroom. A true escape and relaxing feature that will enhance the younger generation’s every day, we think keeping an aquarium full of vibrant fish is the best way to teach children how to care for an animal.

Did you have the standard hamster as a class pet? You may then remember a time when the question of holiday care comes up. With an aquarium in the classroom, holiday care can be made easy with a ‘Holiday Block’ or automatic feeder, so no need to transport the system to another location – easy!

When it comes to caring for an animal in the confines of a school classroom - although the furry kind of animal is cute and cuddly - the scope of knowledge that an aquatic environment provides will enrich a child’s learning. We have spoken about the benefits of keeping an aquarium for children and we would encourage any school teachers looking at treating their class to a pet, to consider fish!
