Primetime for Maidenhead Aquatics!

You may hear us talking about aquariums rather often, but do you know we’re also very keen on our water gardens? A high percentage of our stores have areas dedicated to water gardening and with Summer now upon us (well, some days!), now is the perfect time for us to shout about something very exciting that we have been a part of…

Love Your Garden is a series on ITV1, which transforms gardens from uninviting, empty spaces into multi-use areas to enjoy, presented by Britain’s favourite gardener - Alan Titchmarsh. As one of the UK’s largest retailers of ponds, fountains and water gardening equipment, we were approached by the Love Your Garden production team to help them, by providing some equipment for their fantastic features. Of course we were thrilled to have the opportunity to lend a hand to the Love Your Garden team and we have now featured on two of this year’s episodes - with another feature coming up next year.

The first Maidenhead Aquatics sighting was in episode three of the primetime television programme; where we gifted pond liner, pumps and plants to create a relaxing Nepalese inspired water garden.

Our next feature was in the latest episode, which aired on Tuesday 26th July. The products used in this week’s garden transformation were; a Stone Monolith water feature, sump, pump and pond liner, as seen below:
